One weekend a bunch of us decided to head to the water park at Irtra. Xocomil is a beautiful water park a few hours from the City. It has all kinds of water rides set in a super clean and jungly park.
The day we went wasn't even busy and there were no lines for any of the slides. This park is off the beaten path and you dont see too many foreigners. It actually has this cool program where Guatemalan employees of major companies can take their families for free once a year and they also get half off at the gorgeous hotel/resort across the street.
The beautiful hotel/resort! It had a whole bunch of different restaurants and a spa and was really beautiful.

The pool were amazing and we spent the second day relaxing by them, reading and ordering drinks. There were also random peacocks wandering about everywhere begging for table scraps.
